One Flock, One Shepherd
Lutherans, Anglicans, and Moravians — Called to Walk Together in Full Communion
~ from a post dated October 31, 2022 on The Anglican Church of Canada’s Facebook page
On this commemoration of the Saints of the Reformation Era — not to mention the day following the traditional commemoration observance of Jan Hus and John Wycliffe — it seems fitting to share the newly launched website lifting up the work towards full communion between Lutherans, Anglicans and Moravians. Learn more about what our traditions have in common, and how deeper partnership will strengthen our ministry in Christ’s church.

The proposed agreement, One Flock, One Shepherd: Lutherans, Anglicans, and Moravians— Called to Walk Together in Full Communion, outlines the full communion declaration which is anticipated to be voted on in 2023. The declaration has been authorized for further consideration across the churches by elected leaders in the Moravian Church in Canada, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada and the Anglican Church of Canada.
