The Memorandum of Understanding for the Church of St Paul formed the guiding principles and constitution for the Church of St Paul when it was signed with great ceremony during a worship service on Pentecost Sunday, May 23, 2010 until September 24, 2015. Representatives of the three denominations were present to sign the agreement:
- the Rt. Rev. Barbara Andrews, Bishop of the Anglican Churches of the Central Interior
- the Rev. Brian Krushel, representing the Bishop of the BC Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada
- the Rev. Ivy Thomas, Conference Minister for Kamloops-Okanagan Presbytery of the United Church of Canada
The Rev. Sandra Sugden and the Rev. Graham Brownmiller signed the agreement on behalf of the congregation.
This memorandum of understanding has been superseded by the North Thompson Ecumenical Shared Ministry Agreement and the Bylaws of the Church of St Paul Shared Ministry when the North Thompson Pastoral Charge and Clearwater United Church became ecumenical shared ministries on September 24, 2015. The North Thompson Pastoral Charge of the United Church of Canada is now known as the North Thompson Ecumenical Shared Ministry, and Clearwater United Church has become Trinity Shared Ministry.
