A Call to Prayer and Action for Peace in Korea
A Worship Service on Wednesday, April 27th
Please join us for “A Call to Prayer and Action for Peace in Korea,” a special worship service, featuring a reflection by Rev. Eun-Kyung Kim, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea, a United Church global partner. The theme for this livestream worship service is the call to end the 70-year-old Korean War, including the campaign to get 10,000 Canadian signatures for the Korean Peace Appeal.
On Wednesday, April 27 at 9:00 a.m. EDT (6:00 a.m PDT), join this online worship service on Zoom or livestreamed on The United Church of Canada YouTube channel.
Long-time partner in Korea, The National Council of Churches, has challenged the United Church to collect 10,000 signatures. United Church people across Canada are invited to sign the appeal and invite their communities of faith, networks, and friends to join them.
Each signature is one step closer to the 10,000 mark. Find out more and add your signature.
