Trinity Shared Ministry Annual Meeting
An Opportunity to Gather and to Look at our Hearts
Those attending Trinity Shared Ministry’s 2021 Annual Congregational Meeting on February 23rd in the Church of St. James’ parking lot noticed the differences and similarities to meetings of the past. The differences were all the result of the Public Health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. The similarities were the result our community of faith’s people and history as well as the expectations of our denominations. The differences were limiting the number in attendance, meeting outside, doing the bare minimum of business, and not having a potluck meal. Some even stayed in their cars because the parking lot resembled a bumpy ice rink. The similarities included approving reports, electing and appointing people to carry out specific roles, beginning and ending in prayer, expressing concerns, and sharing laughter.
The meeting concluded with checking out the hearts that members have been hanging on our pine tree. The hearts have followed butterflies and stars.
