EQUIP 2016
A Gathering of the Anglican Parishes of the Central Interior
St. Paul’s Cathedral, Kamloops ~ May 27 – 29, 2016
Listening with the Ear of our Hearts: The Art of Engaged Leadership in the Parish
How do the ancient Benedictine promises of stability, obedience and conversion of life, intersect with the invitation for us to develop and grow as Anglican communities of faith in today’s world?
During our time together at this conference we will:
- learn about how our Anglican Benedictine heritage can serve us as we lead congregations which seek to grow and thrive
- engage with, and assess our parishes around our congregation’s core purpose
- identify and begin to work on specific improvement projects related to inviting, greeting, orienting or incorporating those whom God is attracting to our faith communities.
Join us for conversations, presentations, and group interaction with The Rt. Rev. Melissa M. Skelton, Diocese of New Westminster.
Bishop Skelton has many years experience in Congregational Development in both the Episcopal church in Maine and the Anglican Church of Canada, and for four years was the Director for the Diocesan School for Leadership for the Diocese of New Westminster.
