Recently, two of our regular outreach projects for First United Church in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside moved from storage to action.  Thirteen boxes of mugs that had been collected by Clearwater United and three boxes of new underwear and socks from Church of St Paul’s Briefs and Drawers Christmas campaign were delivered.

Both congregations are also responding to a request for craft supplies from United Church-run Camp MacKenzie located on Mabel Lake east of Enderby.  Bags and boxes of supplies were left for pick-up in Vernon by the two Leslies when they attended a Presbytery Executive meeting.  Supplies are still being collected for another delivery later this spring.
