Can There Be A Middle To The Middle East?
February Faith Lecture at St. Paul’s Cathedral
Sunday, February 22nd at 7:30 pm
360 Nicola Street, Kamloops, BC
In the wake of another tragic episode of violence between Gaza and Israel this past summer, and disturbing trends sweeping across Syria and Iraq, one wonders whether this region can ever know peace. In this one address, Richard LeSueur will draw on his first-hand experience of recent history in Israel/Palestine, and provide an overview of the past century with maps and charts that illustrate the fundamental changes underway.
Richard is a former resident of Jerusalem. He continues to facilitate programs of pilgrimage and study in the biblical lands annually. He was the former Director of the Desert Program at St. George’s College, Jerusalem, and serves as adjunct faculty with Trinity College, Toronto. He is the rector of St. George, Cadboro Bay, Victoria.
St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral welcomes all to this free public lecture.
